Carer’s Emergency Card

Carers’ Emergency Card

Carers can register for this free card to make sure the person they care for is supported in an emergency.

It can provide peace of mind if you are taken ill, involved in an accident or if an emergency stops you from getting to the person you look after.

Once registered, you will be provided with a card to carry with you. The card doesn’t contain personal information but has a unique identification number and 24/7 phone number.

Once called, your details can be accessed and your emergency plan will be put into action.

This could be just contacting a named relative or friend through to contacting health or social care services and making arrangements for alternative care.

This free service is offered as a partnership between Bolton Carers Support, Careline (Be One Homes) and Bolton Council.
