Alison Cowell, Operations Manager

Alison is responsible for identifying funding opportunities and submitting written applications to a range of charitable funding sources, compiles and submits monitoring information and reports, and manages the organisation’s finance.  Alison also supports Georgette in strategic and operational functions. alison@boltoncarersupport.co.uk

Bev Strang, Carers Information and Advice Service Officer

Bev co-ordinates the Carers Helpline, deals with enquiries from carers and health/care professionals and provides information and advice appointments.  Bev also oversees the website, database, and information materials. bev@boltoncarersupport.co.uk

Laurent Fernandez-Moreno, Telephone Befriending Co-ordinator

Zoe Hill, Community Engagement Coordinator

Zoe is responsible for coordinating and delivering work within our neighbourhoods, ensuring volunteers are part of this work, our work is reaching the communities that face the most barriers to accessing support, that an effective carers focus group is formed and that grass roots work is fed into the strategic co-ordination elements of the project.  Zoe also works on the helpline. zoe@boltoncarersupport.co.uk

Angela Paggett, Helpline Assistant

Nireexa Solanki, Community Engagement Worker

Nireexa creates opportunities for carers to relax, socialise, learn new skills, and share their experiences with others. Nireexa runs regular groups where carers can connect, take part in activities, and focus on their health and wellbeing.  Nireexa also works with the Asian Resource Centre, helping people from minority communities access support from Bolton Carers Support. Organising cultural events that celebrate diversity and bring carers together. nireexa@boltoncarersupport.co.uk 

Mark Eardley, Authorised Fundraiser for Bolton Carers Support

Mark works closely with various venues to secure fundraising opportunities for Bolton Carers Support. He builds strong relationships with community champions, ensuring fundraisers have access to high-quality locations to maximize donations and raise awareness of our services. Mark also shares updates on the impact of collections, helping venues see the difference their support makes.
