On 4 May 2023, voters in England will need to show Photo ID to vote at polling stations. Accepted forms of photo ID are: Passport, Driving Licence, Blue Badge and Bus Pass.

If an elector does not have any form of photographic ID, they can apply for a “Voter Authority Certificate“. This is a form of letter with a photo of the elector which can be used at a polling station.
